C&P worst-day coach
Examiners rate what you show them. These prompts push you toward flares and functional limits — not the cleaned-up version of you.

Worst-day prompts
- Describe a recent day when symptoms were at their worst — what triggered it?
- How often do panic, flashbacks, or hypervigilance hit in a typical month?
- How does it wreck sleep, relationships, and ability to be around people?
- Have you missed work, left early, or avoided jobs because of it?
Say this
- Frequency, severity, and duration in plain numbers (e.g. 4 panic attacks/week).
- Concrete functional limits: crowds, driving, sleep hours, isolation.
- Meds, therapy, and side effects.
Not that
- Don’t say “I’m fine today” as if that’s your baseline.
- Don’t argue about the rating % with the examiner.
- Don’t minimize to seem tough.
Bring
- Symptom log (2–4 weeks)
- Therapy / psychiatry notes if you have them
- Medication list
- Buddy/spouse statement on behavior changes
