Our mission
VA-Disability-Calc.com exists to make VA disability math understandable. Combined ratings, pay tables, effective dates, TDIU, SMC, and P&T status each use specialized rules. Too often, veterans only discover those rules after a confusing decision letter arrives. Our goal is to provide fast, private, educational tools that show the steps — not just a final number — so you can advocate for yourself with better context.
How our tools work
Every calculator on this site runs client-side in your browser. We do not require an account and we do not need a database to process your estimates. That design keeps things simple and reduces unnecessary data collection. The VA combined rating calculator is fully live today; additional tools are rolling out with the same transparent approach.
What we are — and are not
We are an independent educational website. We are not the Department of Veterans Affairs, not a law firm, and not an accredited VSO organization. Calculators provide estimates based on published methods and rate tables. They cannot account for every nuance in a claims file.
